The Weeping Angels attack! - Doctor Who - Blink - Series 3 - BBC

  1. Not being a Doctor Who fan... I felt lost while watching this clip but that allowed me to look more into how they used light as a way of movement for the Angels. Using flashes of light to portray that the figures were moving (allowing for the movement to occur in production) added to the suspense of the scene. As the characters were scared and unsure of what was going to happen next, the audience was just as confused because the flash of light disoriented what we were seeing. The suspenseful music also helped add to the scene and the excitement as the closeups of the characters showed fear, and the statues showed the terror that was about to happen.

  2. The weeping angles are unreal in this show. not a huge follower of the show but ive seen clips involving these angles and its beyond frightening . the lights, music and suspense is unbeatable, not much else like Dr. Who on TV today.
