In my opinion, the “14 Actors Acting” videos had the potential to be really impressive or really… not. The description to these videos on youtube is “Performers who defined cinema in 2010 capture classic screen types.” I feel that this video with Javier Bardem showed an impressive performance, and I feel that these videos stress the importance of music in films as well. The orchestra in these videos gave them an eerie vibe, but some of them could have had a different meaning with different music. I also enjoyed how in some of these clips, nothing really happened for the first ~30 seconds to add suspense. In some other videos, such as the Jennifer Lawrence one, I was not impressed and feel she was just being dramatic for the fun of the clip since it was based on “classic screen types”, but she could have used that to her advantage to show how great of an actress she can be.
