This scene from the movie certainly keeps you intrigued and entertained. The sequence scene and music goes hand in hand together in keeping you engaged and your heart racing! Their facial expressions is what allows you to feel their pain and exhaustion in such little time but know the race has taken forever in their minds. I love this movie!
After watching this scene, the viewer is not only interested in the action that is going on visually, but the cinematic queues as well as the music playing also keep the energy up throughout the entire piece also. There is much more to rowing crew than most people realize, and this scene really depicts what those rowers go through. I could watch this over and over and pick up a new thing each time that makes this scene such a great part.
